Gregory Johnson Joins StratasCorp Technologies as Chief Technology Officer

StratasCorp Technologies is pleased to welcome Gregory (Greg) Johnson as its first Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Greg will be focused on bringing in new ideas and potential clients, in addition to developing winning solutions and teams. He will also be responsible for the company’s technology alliance program, along with overseeing the technical certification of its workforce.

Greg brings more than 20 years of experience supporting business growth, systems engineering, and program operations. Throughout his career supporting the United States armed forces, he has developed a proven track record for leading integration projects in some of the largest, most complex networks in the world, both as a service integrator as well as a provider of direct client support within the acquisition program office.

Prior to joining StratasCorp, Greg worked at CSRA and General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) as the Chief Technology Officer of the Navy-Marine Corps business unit and as a Senior Solutions Architect, responsible for technical solutions in capture and proposal development, including leading solution development, strategic approach, cost, labor and basis of estimates. Through his efforts, GDIT made expansive gains in Navy human resources, training, and combat system integration.

Greg has previously served as principal systems engineer leading a team supporting the Naval Enterprise Networks (NEN) Program Office PMW 205. Responsible for developing technical strategies to meet program objectives, he worked collaboratively with the various Navy stakeholders, the service integrator, as well as industry partners from requirements development to product fielding. Highly knowledgeable on Network, Cybersecurity, and Directory Service architectures, Greg was formally recognized by the Navy on numerous occasions for excellence in service support. Before joining the Navy Program Office, he served as technical delivery organization leader with Hewlett Packard Enterprise on the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) account. He also led a small application development team responsible for design and automation delivery to the imaging and seat refresh efforts across the Navy program, he served as a lead engineer supporting shore-based workstation deployments to afloat and other tactical environments, and as a forest level admin installing, operating, and supporting the Directory Services and Storage Area Network (SAN) systems within NMCI. Greg is a native Californian and served in the United States Marine Corps as a Stinger Missile Gunner. He is a combat veteran of Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm.
